St. Bernardus Abt 12 from Brouwerij St. Bernard is a traditional abbey ale brewed in the classic style of Belgium’s Trappist Monks. It is almost ebony in color, smooth, creamy and full bodied with big richness of texture that is almost oily and very assertive, like a warming coconut brandy.

The Artwork
The artwork for the bottle is the work of renowned French artist Bernard Pras.
About Bernard Pras
Bernard Pras was born in Roumazières (Charente),  and lives in Montreuil (Paris). His work is worldwide represented at the main fairs and in the most prominent galleries.
Bernard Pras replaces brush and color by object and matter and gives his own interpretation to art. From a collection of crazy items such as toilet paper rolls, bowls and salt pots, his exceptional portraits come to live. His compositions are inspired by art history (Crucifixion, Van Gogh) but also by contemporary society (portraits of Albert Einstein, Che Guevara, Mickey Mouse and Catwoman).
His temporary material arrangements are laid down in a photographic image and printed in very limited edition, thus continuing the essence of his art and being accessible to the viewer.
